Design guidelinesSubmitting Images
Image files for use in business cards and trading cards should be in JPG, TIFF, EPS, PDF, PSD, or BMP formats. Other formats may or may not be accepted. Image files should contain the subject matter in at least 70 percent of the frame and be no smaller than 1500 pixels in any dimension. Images taken with digital cameras are preferred. Use a camera with at least 3.2 MegaPixel resolution. Paper photos can be mailed to National Business Cards. However, do not print digital photos and submit that; submit the digital file directly.
Submitting Design Ideas
You are welcome to submit your ideas for your business cards, trading cards or other materials. Be descriptive and include rough sketches to clarify your ideas. Pages can be emailed or faxed to National Business Cards.National Business Cards specializes in creating unique design and layout ideas for your materials so don't worry if you don't have any ideas. Most importantly, we do need you to include all information that will appear on your cards. Such as Title, Name, Phone Numbers, email addresses, tag lines, etc. We can let you know if you need to summarize information due to crowding, but we can't add what we don't know. Submitting Logos
If your company or organization has a logo that you want to use on your cards we prefer that a vector based file be submitted such as EPS, AI, or PDF formats. If a vector version of your logo is not available, please provide a JPG, TIFF, EPS, PDF, PSD, or BMP format file with resolution of at least 600 pixels in the smallest dimension.
Submitting Pre Designed Art
If you have a business card or material that is already designed and you want National Business Cards to print it, please send a layered .PSD or .AI or .PDF file. All AI files should have text converted to outlines. All files should be in CMYK color mode and be 300 dpi.
